Believing in fate !

Fate actually exists, but it should be properly referred to as determinism.

However, it has nothing to do with that love bullshit you've been fed from movies, shows etc.

Reality is what you make it. I do believe certain influences may have a part. Like God directing you.

So it is mostly free-will, but God may help guide you to that decision if he wishes.

Might be normal to hope for that but its not necessarily realistic. Better luck wishing for a pony.

It happens, but it's not something anyone should put all their faith and hope into. Realistically, there is no "the one," but instead everyone has many compatible options that can be just as great or more as the previous person if the person you've loved before didn't work out, but it's all about meeting them at the right time in each others' lives. You can wait for someone, but understand that meeting again isn't always garanteed, and if it does happen, rejoice!!!

Sounds like you've watched to many movies. Real life isn't that way. In real life, nothing works out the way you want it to.
