I hate being told what to do, especially when it's nonsense. I really don't want to spend an hour walking around every isle to get to what I need.
Ikea arrows only make shopping slower for everyone and I refuse to follow them.
I got my stupid mask on and I give whoever is in front of me their obligatory 1.5 meters, but that's it. If anyone wants to confront me on something I did, or did not do, I'm more than ok to argue with them.
I had one woman at the checkout tell me that " Excuse me, the MINIMUM distance is 1.5 meters". I asked her if she was an 18 wheeler that needed space to maneuver for offloading and that shut her up. Didn't hear a reply after that.
The whole social distancing thing is bullshit, cause it's super enforced in some places, but completely ignored in others. I gotta be extra careful in supermarkets and buildings not to be close to anyone, cause I'll get the stupid virus and die a pointless and agonizing death, but on my Saturday job, driving a bus completely packed with passengers - no biggie. And no, our buses don't have NASA style filters in the A/C system. Hell, we don't even turn on the big, passenger aircon unit, so the bus company saves money. On hot days we turn on driver A/C.
Seriously, bus packed with people that sneeze, cough and whatever is ok... Everyone sitting next to everyone, people even standing in the full bus - completely normal.
People packed like sardines in airplanes - again, no problem.
But go to the local pub - big sign that says maximum of X customers allowed and a waitress valiantly guarding the door... and the damn place is always half empty. Where is the logic in that?!
When will idiot legislators get it through their thick and empty heads, that shutting down the economy and our normal way of life is NOT going to solve the problem. A vaccine and meds are. So instead of wasting money on police checkpoints and bullshit laws, force big pharma to give us a damn cure!
I heard the AC thing was big, that air conditionings are going to spray the virus everywhere. But then every store and little restaurant in my town here had a window unit blowing on the sidewalk and the people walking by for the entire summer.
Its like they dont want people sitting in bars for hours and hours but if you buy a pretzel or something now you can drink as much as you want. It doesnt make sense.
Its impossible for me to believe they aren't doing this on purpose to fuck with people at this point.
Being this obsessed with social rules
