Ummm I know it's a very old story but I'm interested to know where you are now? Did your issue fix themselves ? Did your life came back on track? When I read this I sorta feel bad for you. I mean it must suck to accept that not trusting friends, doubt love and always assume there may be bad intent are what is consider normal to do but that's life. If I could give you the best advice to not completly become someone you would hate but to still not get fucked up it would be to never compromise yourself. What I mean by that is to give to other what you can give nothing more nothing less, you are an individual it's only natural to preserve yourself but you are a human ,a social creature and its only natural to want to love and be loved. To never compromise yourself iis to find the balance between those two reality. I get the feeling from your post that you didn't act like and individual and assume others would have your best interest at heart.
