Being ghosted

My friend is ghosting me. We didn't have a fight or nothing like it. They stopped messaging me all of a sudden and I don't know if I should continue writing them until they reply me.
I'm really sad about it.

It ain't normal for someone to just stop talking.. I know the feeling!! The guy I slept with and now live with is ghosting me BIG time and honest to god don't know why.. he only talks to me if he needs something of affects him..
Now he is spending more time with his stupid ex (sounds stupid according to what he's told me before he stopped talking to me) I dunno what I've done to do this but yea.. I feel your pain!!

I'm so sorry, dude (or dudette). A colleague has been doing that to me of late. She replies to my professional correspondence almost the moment I send it but ignores my texts/Instagram messages asking after her.
Isn't it heartbreaking? Wait it out and don't do anything rash - you could make it worse, like I did.

    • It seems I'm not important to them as they are to me.

Give time and space. Think of other happy thoughts.

It's not normal of them to ghost you, but normal of you to feel frustrated, sad, and hurt over it. Unfortunately, some people cannot communicate and just cut off people without any reason. I guess it's their way of running from whatever issue they feel they may have.

If they can't be bothered to acknowledge you and reply to your messages, I'd quit messaging them and forget about them, honestly. I know it hurts a lot, as I've had friends get really weird on me out of the blue before, too, but you will most likely be better off in the long run.

Who knows? Maybe this will open up an opportunity for you to meet someone even better. I had a friend pull similar shit about a year ago, then decided to go out of my way to meet some new people and gained two new quality friends that are at least ten times better than the "friend" I lost. Their loss, not ours!

It happened to me over a year ago and i still think about it daily. It's definitely not an acceptable thing to do.

Thats the bad part about having internet friends they can ghost you and you are left empty and confused .
Just let it go if they wanted to contact you they would have .
