I honestly, don't want to be in a relationship, because I don't want to compromise, or have to deal with another person.
Check in is when the boyfriend/girlfriend wants to call you every 20 minutes and make a big deal if you don't answer your phone. People don't understand that that before you rush into a boyfriend girlfriend relationship. You have got to get to know one another. and before you can do that you have to know who you are
Why assume every relationship would involve having to check in, answer to someone else or someone else trying to change you.
I'd run a mile from a relationship like that, but then I'm not into control or power over or people owning each other.
To be honest, I don't think most people really know what a foundation of a relationship is anymore. I forgot after I became a widow 21 years ago.
Sames, not sure what you mean by check in though, and no one should be trying to change you
