Well just tell your dad that he has to call before he comes over to respect your privacy. You don't have to tell him why. It would be your home not his. And it isn't financially impossible. Many people live on their own with a meager income you can too. I believe your father is a big enough person to be able to live on his own. Sooner or later he will have to anyway.
