I voted "it's normal" because there's nothing wrong with that preference, lots of people love beards.
That said, it's not for me personally. I love guys with neatly-trimmed stubble and small beards, but I really don't like the big hipster/bohemian/caveman/religious beards. Vile.
And no, the wanting to tend to their beards isn't weird. I like playing with guys' head hair (if they have it) so I don't think it's weard to play with their beards. It's just an act of affection.

If the beard goes past their nipples, it's too much for me.
I kind of wanted an answer for the whole fact that I want to tend to their beards, though. Not the fact that I like beards.
