Totally normal. You're pretty much the target demographic. Most Batman comics are geared towards an older audience as are a lot of the animated DC Comics movies. The old cartoons were intended for younger audiences but appealed to a wide range of age groups (Bruce Timm is really good at pulling off that kind of thing).

I'm actually pretty excited to see what they do with Beware the Batman, which is coming out later this year.

Batman is fucking cool. The graphic novels by Frank Miller are incredible!! And the animated movies The Dark Knight Returns part one and now part two are freaking great!

If you don't like Batman you're just wrong. No other explanation.
