To be honest, men are just protecting themselves. Since the feminist movement it's a minefield. If we compliment you we are opening ourselves up to legal repercussions ie, claims of sexism at work. If we sleep with you we're terrified you could go to the police and say we raped you, even if it's a lie it will damage our lives.
