Wife had balloons all in the hallway for my kids birthday in the morning. Somehow one popped at like 3am and before I even realised what happened I was on my feet grabbed the pistol from the night stand and racked one in the chamber screaming "AYYYEEE!!!". I almost had a heart attack I thought someone kicked the door in or shot a gun in my house. Im already a paranoid person. But I am glad I reacted quickly. My wife just laid there confused saying "what was it?..."

    A real 'murican man would have run out to the hallway and blasted every damn one of those balloons with his Glock 20 just to make sure they didn't pull that shit again.

      No. A real American wouldn't shriek like a Frenchman and would be quickly cognizant and safely armed and would determine who or what was popping the baloons at 3 am.

    Sounds like the sort of shit that happens in my house, except my husband doesn't have a gun so it would be an axe.

    It's good to know he's on the ball but I feel sorry for him. He doesn't sleep well.

      Id have a crossbow if it was illegal to own a gun there. I was googling the legality and came across a article about banning crossbows in the UK
