  • I will start off saying , my sympathies to you for your experience . I have had plenty negative experiences / trips with marijuana . It happens a lot more as a beginner but sometimes even to veteran smokers . It sounds like to me you just over smoked . It's common for people with little knowledge of the plant to assume it was laced . Your weed wasn't laced more than likely even though technically it's a possibility . I know you feel the effects were extreme and they seem so , lacing weed would be costly to a dealer unless someone with you was doing it . If your friends were fine and not on the ground with you , suffering the same reaction .. i think it's safe to rule this out! Now , as far as the cannabis! It's definitely a plant with many effects that vary a lot depending on the strain , the user , their tolerance , their set and setting/environment , their emotions or expectancy from the marijuana . There are many factors that play a role , you sound like you couldn't move because possibly you smoked a heavy indica strain with a high THC content . The weed these days are heavy enough to put out any new or return smokers! You saw the ambulance difference , this is also normal ..cannabis distorts our perception when using it and the more you smoke and are not used to it , the more it will . Cannabis can be known for it's famous mild effects like relaxation , euphoria , uplifted happiness , pain relief , hunger , fatigue but it also has psycho active properties and mild hallucinogenic properties as well . It can definitely make someone trip out and see things differently , hear things differently . It is if the person is willing to let it take them there or if they are willing to welcome its effects . Someone who willingly accepts the high and goes with it will be a lot less likely to have high anxiety if any at all during this state . The users all get different effects but alot are common between them . I think you need to relax , smoke much less and see how it makes you feel! just let the marijuana teach you what it has to offer and remember ... no one dies from cannabis , there is nothing to fear . I wouldn't worry , just accept the input from the cannabis , accept it is changing things in your reality and they will look or feel or sound different but that's okay it's the high , let it's calming effects sit behind this and protect you from panic attacks . Just remember you are learning how cannabis works , how it affects you and what possible benefits you can grasp from it . Next time my friend , take 1 hit from the joint and wait 20 minutes! see how you feel by then before considering more . The weed doesn't peak until after about 10 - 15 minutes depending on the strain and user , could be less could be more but give 10 - 20 minutes as a beginner to see how it affects you! your choice . I hope all goes well for you stepping further ... update any new cannabis experiences to see if maybe we get something positive from this advice i have given you . Relax , don't be afraid of the plant , be excited for what it brings , breathe , remember your just high , everything is okay and will return to normal soon enough . have a nice gaterade and maybe treat on standby and be with people you are 100 % comfortable with in a safe , comfy environment . Best of luck
