Babies kinda freak me out

I just think it's freaky that they like feed off a mother's body part like a parasite. and they're pretty much mindless, pooping and peeing and crying. i think people love them cuz its like an instinct, yno. nd its like.. they just came out of a u-no-what.. it's not like i hate them. totally not true. i dont have any urge to hurt them or anything. im curious though. i'm an only child-never even been around babies.

Is It Normal?

  • I agree, they're gross and so ridiculously science fiction that it's almost comical.

  • it's not an age issue, i am 32, and dentist, rats and giving birth are my 3 top fears. I don't like babies as they have not personality, I know it's a contradiction, they are babies after all, they are not supposed to have a personality yet. I see them as parassites as well and soooo needy. I hate anyone who is needy so naturally i can't stand that about them. Who ever says you re immature, that be around will change your mind...just brush them off. Some people choose not to accept that some adults, women included, don't have that natural instic. I am horrified when women say babys defines them, and all they want is to be a mum. It's true that if you are young, this may change, I used to tell that my self, bu every year that goes by I am more and more reluctunt to be near any baby, and I have friends that feel the same. It's not abnormal, some of us are just not made for that, I think it's helthier to admit than pretend to be someone we are notand ruin lifes all round.

  • Being a mother I can only draw from my personal experience. The thing I love most about babies is their innocence. And having some one so small and innocent depend totally on you and your body is an amazing feeling.

And witnessing a birth isn't as the movies makes it out to be. It's the most amazing thing I've ever done. There is nothing freaky about it.

  • I understand what it's like. I grew up the youngest one on my family, and was never around a baby until I was twenty. They always just made me uncomfortable because I never knew what to do around them. Once you are exposed to babies more and someone just says here hold him/her, you become one of the people who love babies.

  • I really don't like babies or children. Babies especially. I held a baby once and it was just this squirming, red hot feeling little bundle of dribble. I have found that they're like little proximity alarms. They just GO OFF! I try so hard to avoid them but they're fucking everywhere! Go in a coffee shop - BABIES, go to a bar/pub/restaurant - BABIES, go for a walk (at night) - BABIES! I hate seeing them all with their 'bog-eyes' and their fucking massive heads looking freaky and annoying. With their little, greasy fat hands touching everything, especially BALLOONS. I mean... A baby stroking a balloon. The thing can pop any minute! AND THE BABY! Double freak out! That high pitched screaming shit too. You just want to pick the thing up and kick it into fucking space! EURRGGHHHHH! Horrid little things.

  • I steal bread are you female??? If not it doesn't make you look gay. It's cute. Either way....... I love babies as kong as the screaming ones go home. LOL But for someone who hasn't been around them yes it is normal. I have met lots of people who feel awkward around babies because they don't know what to do with them, why they cry and scream or afraid they'll drop them. Once your around them and make an effort to warm up around them your views will more than likely change.
