I'd say the normality on IIN differs a great lot from the kind of poll/question you're on. If it's a serious question, (most) people know how to stay serious. If you're on a less than serious question, people tend to have people locked in their basements...
To me, some are normal, others not so much.

The average people on this site are far from normal. IIN attracts deviants, rather than the average "normal" person. Of course, nobody is truly "normal", but the average person on this site is a deviant. I mean seriously, there are so many bestiality and pedo questions that are voted as normal and get thumbs up, and I'm not just talking about the urges but people actually acting on them.
I don't know which button to click on.... And this is the only place where I feel TOO normal.
I noticed we have a lot of birds on this site. However no little old ladys to give them feed.
