I'm a babysitter and there's one family that tells me their kids need a bath before bedtime. So far I haven't done it and instead made the bathtub and towels wet to pretend they got a bath. But I feel bad and I'm worried they'll figure out what I'm doing.

Tell them the truth and confess to them that it makes you uncomfortable. I just hope you're not babysitting them every night, because children need baths eventually or they'll get sick.
If you think that's awkward try bathing some kids you just met at the playground.
Discuss your concerns with the parents. I am sure they would be understanding of your situation and maybe a simple "ah its fine dont worry about it!" from the parents might be all you need to overcome this problem.
Why would you do that? There is nothing wrong with the bath! Just be careful and not leave the bathroom if they are very young, you don't want anything bad happening to them
Just have them take their bath and towel them off and put them to bed. What is wrong with that?
Look, throw a bucket of warm soapy water on these brats and have them towel themselves dry. Who the fuck is gonna know?
