I've heard of similar circumstances before. Males have a rigid sexuality, and are practically either straight, bi, or gay, and with virtually no points in between. With Females, the fluidity of their sexuality is such that there's many points between straight and bi and bi and lesbian.
If you're attracted to someone, then great! Just don't let it control your life if you don't know the answer. My love interest has some interest in women, yet identifies with being straight. I don't think she's denying being bi, or anything like that. Thankfully, I'm glad she thinks about me and that her not knowing hasn't caused her any problems.
