Attracted to my friend?

I'm a girl and i think i might be attracted to my good friend(who's a girl, too). I don't think im gay, but i often catch myself thinking about her. It is not any type of erotic or romantic dreams, just obsessive thinking. If we don't chat in the evening I would fall asleep wondering why she didn't write me. i would be constantly thinking of something we've talked about or re-read old messages. She's leaving for college next year and i can't imagine my life without her! I have other friends, but she seems to be the only person i REALLY have fun with. Whenever we are together I feel different, but i'm not exactly sure i could be called gay because i don't want any romantic relationship with her. do you think it normal?

    i think its normal, youre just attracted to her and its fine. most people are not completely straight anyway. it doesn't make you gay or even bi its just something you can't help and I know what you're going through I've had that happen to me before. If you dont think yourself as gay then you're probally not and you shouldn't worry. In my simmilar situation it just faded away and maybe it will happen to you as well. Although you said you don't think of her in a romantic way so is it possible that you are just preoccupied with the fact that she is going to be leaving soon? Good luck figuring this out.

    I have a friend who is so like me, it's amazing. When he wasn't in my class this year I was depressed, but I've gotten over it. I often think about him, but only really stuff I wanted to tell him like the latest gossip or whatever.

    omg... i dont knoe if it is normal...but well... if people tell you that you are attracted to her... but you dont feel that way, just dont forcce it...
    I mean, mi BFF is the most importan person in my world... and if she leaves me...i just kill myself... and is weird. Because i'm not gay... ^^ but... well... sometimes you just really care and love someone... ^^ and dont have to be in a romantic or sexualy way...

    I understand how you feel. I am in a similar situation with my best friend that i haven't been in touch for several years.
    Those feelings fade away, but in my case it came back once i saw her again.

    I think u might just be attracted to her personality and that if a guy had that same personality you would be just as attracted to him
