Why do you care about what others say? Live your own life and be happy with the person you love.
Unless you live in a tiny village and you both are dependent from your families I can't see the point, I don't know your age but if you are old enough leave to another place and start a knew life there. If there is love strings to do it just pop up and chances will appear. You can work and study at the same time and start life from the button.
Love and be loved and fight prejudice. Prejudice only exists to make a hell out of peoples life.
The main fault of so much prejudice in the world comes out of all churches not matter what people say. Its a fact.
All main issues disturbing societies trough history there is always some church behind.
I'm Agnostic to. I professed all my life what helps people to be happy. I could never professed religions castrating their herd, making people unhappy and judge other's not fallowing the same ideas. Religions to turn the forbidden in desirable and therefore everything turns into a sin.
Show people you are a guy with ca rather and face people telling them there is nothing wrong about your love torts your cousin and you both want to keep going with it. Be sure she also wants the same and that she his prepared for it. Otherwise there is no point in fighting it. You both must want it badly.
