As someone who doesn't have to support royalty, I must say the English Royals have entertained and enlivened my life numerous times, around the world.
The Queen herself is responsible for my holding a British Commonwealth Mate's Certificate of Competency. Thank you, Lizzy.
Absolute truth.
And no it doesn't mean I've met her or any of them. A situation occurred where I was hired to drive a boat that she was to be on, so I was required to be licensed by the Commonwealth.
