    You and I aren't good at spreading it because although we see the value, the beliefs are not real for us.

        True. But there are other ways that critical thinkers learn good lessons. Most people are not critical thinkers, so religion works best for them. Read this Scientific American article about How Critical Thinkers Lose Their Faith in God.
