At what temperature do you put on a jacket?

Around 70, I put on my normal jacket. Around 60 or lower, I put on my jean jacket that's fuzzy on the inside and keeps me really warm. When it's below 40, I stay home and sleep. LOL.

I'll check my portable thermometer next time, shall I?

I think it probably depends on whether on not we are coming down from a hot summer. If we are then I'm used to the heat, the jacket goes on sooner. I would guess that mine usually goes on at around 5 - 10 celcius.

I have a strange relationship with heat though. Unless it is either -10 or 40, heat is just a sensation to me, it is not uncomfortable. I sometimes don't put on a jacket when it is very cold, or take it off when it is very hot. I have fainted from both hypothermia and heat exhaustion before, because I didn't even notice that I was too cold or too hot.

This is a weird question :p I don't know how hot or cold it is when I put on a jacket. I just do coz I feel like it.

from new england so soon as fall starts rolling in time to break out the jacket and sweaters

I don't typically start wearing a jacket outdoors until its about 5'C (just an approximation).

I knit myself a giant wool scarf that I wear when it's colder than -25'C. That's when the cold starts to pinch your exposed skin and snow sounds like styrofoam.

How do you comfortably wear shorts and a tee shirt when its below freezing? I like cool weather, but maybe down to 50 I need a coat or at least a hoodie
