At what point should we let natural selection do its job?

  • I just don't care for the idea of sharing my organs.

          • That's why I will never say be an organ donor, and neither will my folks, or my sister. I don't trust those hospital doctors to not take advantage of me when I'm at my most vulnerable, I don't think anyone should.

            • Yeah some people dont think it through. It sounds good, "organ donor" but when you are on life support the doctors have to make the decision when its time to give up on your life to harvest your organs. If they wait too long your organs may fail. So to them the sooner the better. Its a conflict of interest.

              • Yep, as far as I'm concerned it way too dangerous to identify as an organ donor. I'd rather let my organs go bad than have some stranger make decisions about whether, or not to save my life based on how much they want to harvest my organs. No, I would rather that my organs stay in my body where they belong.
