I would say that about eighty percent of life is luck. Being at the right place at the right time in order to take advantage of the situation. The important part is being prepared to take advantage of the opportunity when presented. That means, if you are a college graduate you keep in mind what opportunities may be available for you or that you can learn to fit yourself into.
If you don't have a skill that you have learned, then you will need to get as many learned skills as you can so that you can identify which one you might to take advantage of when opportunity presents itself.
