Yes, his parents began their relationship when his mom was a teen, I think his dad was early twenties but I'm not sure of the exact ages. I just know that they got married young, like before his mom was 20.
True love comes at any and all ages of emotional maturity, and emotional maturity occurs at all different ages.
I think that it's best to find someone after you have turned 25-ish because by that time your brain is fully developed. I grew apart from the boyfriend I had when I was 17-21 years old, A lucky few meet a really great person and settle with that person for the rest of their lives.
I honestly, and sadly, doubt that it will ever happen to me. Partly because I have such high standards and needs that needs to be met. The passion two new lovers share is something that I refuse to leave in the past.
I'm also a VERY difficult person to be with, I know myself well enough to state that I can be a royal pain in the ass.
But I really can't complain, enjoying my life anyway and if I ever meet a guy that can handle me for the long term-great!
I fell in love when I was 19. He was 21. We had experiences like nobody else, interests others only pretended to have, and a feeling that we could never let one another down. We learned very quickly that we met the person we would always protect, be there for, and find safety in. This was the fulfillment we'd longed for. We've been together 7 years in Dec.
Nobody can tell you when you're ready to fall in love. It'll happen when it's ready for you.
Everyone matures emotionally and mentally at different rates so I don't believe that there is a specific age that a person is able to experience true love and that it goes for everyone.
When I was younger and was dating, I never felt true love and never thought I would, then when I was 18 I met my boyfriend and basically instantly fell inlove. I realise I'm only 19 and some people think teenagers are incapable of true love, but those people are assholes.
My boyfriends parents met back in their teens and they just celebrated their 26th anniversary a couple weeks ago.
True love does not exist. It is just something that was made up and people went with it. No one knows what love even is. There is no point in arguing. Love is just a couple of hormones and chemicals messing up your brain when you see a hot someone, it's human nature.
