I can understand the wall if someone's giving off a creepy vibe or there's some awkward attempts at flirting going down. And player types are pretty easy to spot; if it's obvious he just wants a one night stand, then I can understand you shutting him down.
But it's rude, sexist and presumptuous to shut down any guy who tries to start a conversation with you.
Guys go to bars to drink, have fun and maybe meet some new people; not to seek you out and convince you to have sex with them!
Too harsh.
