At age 26, i still feel that i`m not ready to date

I don`t know why I feel that way, anytime I approach ladies, it doesn`t work so it makes me feel I`m not ready.

    Do you have guy friends? Just hangout with guys that know girls. Its less awkward when its a bunch of your friends and a bunch of girls hanging out together drinking.

    I don't know about whether, or not you're ready to date, but you do seem rather less than ready for apostrophes.

        Your apostrophes backwards, and look like accent marks.

      I'm concerned about you. You seem nice enough. I wish I could help you, but hopefully you've read comments and know of another user that's been down the same path in life that you're on.

        Thank you for your concern, McBean. I have a very good therapist who is helping me recover from old wounds. I was fortunate to get the sessions half price through a church charity. And I have God, whom I only have to reach out to, and he eases my pain. There's hope for me - there isn't for everyone, sadly. I'm not helpless.

          Okay, now I'm not as concerned. The IIN congregation is certainly not as astute as your Sunday church crowd. But I, for one, enjoy your company. You argue philosophy like a pro. Your intelligence, argumentation and eloquence are uplifting, and arouse a mental presence within me that I haven't felt since I worked with Ph.D. physicists in the aerospace industry 20 years ago.

          We have had other high IQ types here but they often leave if they get comment responses that are unintentionally intimidating. Sadly, many of these responses are mine. *Sigh*.

          Hang in there, Ruthie. I hope that collectively, we are all a good reason to stay here.

    It depends, if you don't wanna get married and live with a woman then sure! Dont date. But if you know you wanna be in a long term adult relationship then it's time to get out there

    • This is what I got from there;

      Grade 3 (20 – 29) = You probably are looking for someone to fix you and your life. Any relationship you embark on will probably not end well. Therapy and coaching should be your next destination.

        Well okay, but a march of 10,000 miles begins with the first step. Now, go to YouTube.com and search for "Dating Coaching". Lots of cool stuff pops up. You'll quickly see that many men and women alike need lots of help. Lol.
