Well, if you had been her you probably wouldn't have said anything right away either. Obviously, she wasn't going to take any chances for no as an answer. Arising situations don't always get an immediate explanation. That being said, you definitely have a right to have been mad while it was happening. Anyone in that situation probably would have been. I would just look past it this time unless she does (mistrustful) stuff like this often.
