I think maybe at 1:30 they should be off the computer, in their rooms reading or watching tv, but to have to go to bed at that time probably irks them & makes them mad at you & resentful. I mean if they don't have to be at a job early in the morning & they're not keeping the whole house awake then really who cares & what's the point of a "bedtime"?
No my mom was like that when I was 17 and it made me act worse than I normally would have. Anyway a 17 year old shouldn't have a bedtime that's really weird!!! Your kids r gonna get into drugs and other bad stuff cause u r so controlling... Communicate with them. Ask them how they feel about it. Work something out.
Errr no o.o
Anyway, some parents just do that. I think it's normal. I can stay up as late as I want in the summer but I usually go to bed at 11.
Maybe they feel they need to set a time so you don't get out of control or something. Plus 1:30 is pretty late to me so it's not the worst. ;)
