Be friends with who you want! I noticed at my school that all the different ethnic groups tend to keep to themselves. I find it sad. You really miss out on great people if you decide you only want to associate with 'people like you'. On the flip side, you will miss out on just as much in avoiding 'people like you'. Instead of focusing on making friends with Europeans as you put it, try to make a rainbow of friends: Asian, Black, White, Hispanic, etc. And if that seems scary because of some stereotypes that you might believe, keep in mind that someone else probably thought the same about you at some point. And I bet they missed out on getting to know a great person, right? Don't let stereotypes turn you into that loser. I'm getting ranty, sorry. In short, use your open-mindedness to become a citizen of the planet, a diversity ranger.
