Hmmm i don't know how to start this. but here i go. I'm Asian but white on the inside. You now like a banana... haha.... Anyway, its weird. I tried making friends with Europeans but i end put making good friends with people like me. Maybe i need to talk hard out... *sigh* Even if i do, there are a lot of Asians that are only spending time with Asians even if they aren't in china or korea... IIN?

    Be friends with whoever you want, it doesn't matter about race.

    the reason why people of the same race are more comfortable hanging out with each other is because we are brought up with the same principles. and we think alike and are more likely to agree with each other.

    there's nothing to do with race. just philosophies.

    I'm Asian, 2nd generation Australian and I don't really like that Asians at my school.. But that's probably because non of them speak English and they're all obsessed with DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) lawl. XD I'm joking. You probably just find you get on better with other Asians..

    ok as a 1.5 generation I'll say that the real asians don't like the banana people for sure it makes them seem like traitors?

    Be friends with who you want! I noticed at my school that all the different ethnic groups tend to keep to themselves. I find it sad. You really miss out on great people if you decide you only want to associate with 'people like you'. On the flip side, you will miss out on just as much in avoiding 'people like you'. Instead of focusing on making friends with Europeans as you put it, try to make a rainbow of friends: Asian, Black, White, Hispanic, etc. And if that seems scary because of some stereotypes that you might believe, keep in mind that someone else probably thought the same about you at some point. And I bet they missed out on getting to know a great person, right? Don't let stereotypes turn you into that loser. I'm getting ranty, sorry. In short, use your open-mindedness to become a citizen of the planet, a diversity ranger.

    It's an evolution thing to be attracted to friends of the same race. It doesn't mean you can't make European friends, just keep trying! And making Asian friends is alright, too.

    Totally normal. I'm asian, second generation American, and I prefer asian friends. I dunno, just feels like they get me better than my white friends
