im really hoping they wont still be sucking by then but i do try not to let them but it is very diffecault when they go on and on about it and after a diffecault day sometimes it is just easier to let them have and enjoy
Then, again if you give them something, they might feel like it's a "reward" of sorts. Punish them. Take the things they love away from them or just be stern. You have too get them out of the habit soon.

Give them something else instead or threaten to take something away from them. You could look up reverse psychology and see if that'll help.
