Trump will likely be getting my vote if I vote. Basic reasons: I think he'll handle illegal immigration and economic issues in ways that I find more suitable than other candidates.
Also, has bigger balls and a franker mouth than many of the other fakers seem to. I wonder if I'm a fool for thinking he's any different than the other sniveling politicians.
The United States hasn't had a peace-loving president since Jimmy Carter. Let's not forget how rotten it has been getting into a new stupid foreign mess every few years. Certainly Trump could get us mixed up in Venezuela or North Korea any day now, certainly he could be better about getting us out of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Yemen. But his enemies have been predicting nuclear disaster from day one, and it hasn't happened. At some point you need to start trusting the people who told you from day one that it wasn't going to happen, and isn't going to happen, because this is a man of peace.
My first choice is Bernie. If he gets fucked over AGAIN, then I'd like to see either Warren or Gabbard. If they TOO get fucked over, then I will GLADLY REELECT The Don. Because, as bad as he is, at least he's genuine about his sleeziness (and is quite entertaining, too). Establishment Democrats just suck as, and as a working-poor white, unfettered capitalism is the last thing I want more of.
If, in the end, we are stuck with a "corporate" democrat, and Congress continues to fuck us over, then at that point I'll be praying for a coup and that most of Congress will resign by force or be assasinated. We are constantly getting fucked, and at this point we need INSTANT change, not this "incrementalist" bullshit.
I don't know how the us system works - will the only options be Hilary or Trump?
I don't have as big an issue with Trump as some seem to. In spite of the boring media narrative that he's evil, I think on paper he actually seems to be an ok president. But I don't think he's a great one and it's a shame that it's essentially a two horse race for you guys - you need a diverse range of parties to choose from, otherwise you end up with the same old repackaged shite year in year out, and people get away with not being good enough.
