My thing is why should anyone have the right to tell another how to live their life
Now some things can arguably affect or not affect another life, like abortion, and through discourse we can reach an agreeable compromise (you can always go out of state or take plan B or go through with the pregnancy if you haven't realized it even took place for some months)
The only way being trans affects others is probably their family, and I think it should be up to the family to work that out one way or the other
Exactly. Some in my family are supportive others dont care and others are anything but supportive. My grandma for example. Definitly not supportive haha. Like for Christmas she used to send me handwritten letters telling me how she's been stuff like that. Now I just get tart replies on Facebook haha
She hasn't actually. She just posts stuff on Facebook that is pretty anti trans and if she wasn't someone I was close to as a child would probably lead to a defriending. But its ok. Im glad she's open about her beliefs I just wish we were still close.
I won't let her hate and fear ruin my life. For once im happy and im not gonna let her weigh that down.
I do. Outside of saving for surgery the most obvious one. I want to become a commercial diver. If all goes to plan ill have surgery in a few years and then hopefully I'll get a loan and go school. Outside of that I want to collect rare books that interest me. Live by the water so I can swim anytime I like. Get a dog maybe meet a guy if I can and just have a peaceful life out in the wilderness. Thats what I want. If I had the money I'd love to have a horse some pigs maybe even a goat.
If by some stroke of luck I manage to become rich the dream is to buy a lighthouse. Id convert the light room into a reading room. What im picturing is just magical and serene.
Oh gosh, I'm smitten 💜 I love the ocean, I grew up on the beach. I used to enjoy sitting on the sand and listening to the waves in peace. I was even a certified scuba diver at one point~ The ear pressure thing is the *worst* to get through. And the lake I was certified in had fish that would nibble your fingers, so you had to be careful about letting your arms sway.
I honestly might steal your lighthouse idea. Or maybe I could get a boat house. That's way out in left field for what I need to focus on now though lol
are you pro trans or anti trans?

Aww geez I bet she says you're handsome and subtle fuckery like that. Old age may grant wisdom but it can also make you less humble

You're handling that negativity pretty well. It kinda makes me wonder, do you have any goals or ambitions?
