I went on there and started giving out my advice as I do on IIN, my comments were removed for using “gendered language” and I realised I was wasted on their draconian platform.

Some subreddits are entertaining but I rarely comment, without the community feel of IIN it’s not as fun.

Some years ago I tried being part of a certain group. I lost interest after a few months, and have not been there for years.

Presumably my user name and password would still work.

Any time I'm looking for something I can't find on Google, I go to reddit. And it's always there

It's a good place to get info on niche stuff. My family and I produce most of our own food so I've found a lot of useful subreddits about growing veg, keeping chickens etc.

You obviously need to do your own research and fact check stuff, but I do still think there is a lot of value in being able to ask a community of people for advice on something.
