It is and today I am thinking it was a bad idea to quit taking them. I decide to quit taking them at some time usually every year when I determine I am not mentally ill, but apparently I probably am.
I quit taking them a couple months ago and was doing really good. Seems my life has gone to shit since then and I am hardly aware of it other than people are now avoiding me and wanting nothing to do with me because of their judgments on my behavior. I am probably not self aware but am able to determine there is something going on when everyone around me comments on it. Personally it makes me feel persecuted and that I should destroy them for their accusations, but I question if that is also a crazy thing to think and notice other people are not having these problems, so perhaps it is me. Really sucks because my gut instinct is that I am right and it is the rest of the world that has it out for me, but I should probably start taking them regardless before I do something horrible, which I have been considering.
:( my cousin is similar in the sense that he will take his medication untill he feels “better”, stop and revert back to non functioning, then take it again and function. Illnesses are dumb.
Probably because a lot of people with mental illness are not aware of it so they believe they are fine and don't really notice when the medication works.
Are you on medication?

Do not do something terrible. I know it sucks but it can always be worse.
