I was on Citalopram once. (Celexa) I was quite out of character. I went off on some kid in a parking lot about the struggles of being the oldest child in a house with a McDonald's working single mother and so he shouldn't judge me so harshly... It was... fuckin awkward. So I stopped taking it. Never had an outburst like that before or after. Some people should feel overly cautious about what they say and think. Anxiety has helped shape me as a person. It taught me patience and understanding. My give a shit was completely gone without it.
That sounds like a bad experience. It sounds like it was a good idea to go off it. I'm still me on the lexapro and I still very much give a shit. I'm lucky in that respect.
