Here's what I believe. Making fun of others should be done at a young age. That way they mature faster and realize that what others think doesn't matter. If it happens anytime after elementary school then it is not okay. Frankly I was tortured throughout my childhood, but in a way I thank my bullies for making me realize that words can't hurt me.

Perhaps you should have punched the bullys in the nose and shown that your not one to be trifled with instead of just taking their words.
