What is considered normal is entirely subjective. The answer you will get depends on the individual you're asking and their beliefs, experiences, and culture. What some see as abnormal, some see as commonplace and vice-versa.
It causes one to ask themselves, 'Where is the line drawn between individual difference and outright abnormality?' I, for one, don't have that answer, but this is a very interesting question, OP.
