I agree with misca. Logic isn't any form of opposing force to open-mindedness.
Logic is just forming conclusions based upon facts and things that you can observe, no matter what conclusions these would be.
Being open-minded is simply keeping an open view of the world and being able to accept other ideas.
So being logical requires you to be open-minded but being open-minded does not actually require logic.
