Are you for or against brexit?

I'm curious as to whether people are generally for or against Brexit. If you could comment where you're from as well, that'd be helpful.

Can't really say too much about it since I'm not British, but based on the admittedly little information I have on the subject I think it would be good for the United Kingdom. The way I see it a country's government should have the best interests of their people at heart and being forced to follow rules and regulations of an outside force may hinder that.

Yeah, I think so too. I wanted to remain before the referendum, but voting only works if you have the consent of the losing party, and the more I look at it, the better Brexit seems for the UK.

I never thought of it that way until you mentioned it now.

Probably because this is the most time I've spent actually thinking about the subject.

I always thought it sounded like the name of a shampoo.

I am British and a huge supporter of Brexit. The biggest problem is that it will almost definitely happen, but with a deal that ties us to their apron strings but with no say on how hard those strings will be pulled. The only safe way forward for us is a ‘no deal’ Brexit. The majority of the people that voted for Brexit will tell you the same thing. Unfortunately the ones in charge of the process are the only ones that will really benefit from leaving with a deal and that’s because they all have their noses in the trough getting their back handers. Brexit with a deal means no one wins. The true supporters (the majority) don’t win for the reasons just mentioned. The remainers (minority) don’t win because we still sort of leave

The European Union is a waste of all the members' time, and, frankly, it should be disbanded.

Mmm no not really, it’s a good opportunity actually but humans tend to make good ideas bad
If everybody would be on their own again things would be hella chaotic

Just because you're ignorant of the politics of a G7 nation doesn't mean everyone should be.

Since I'm not British and not even European I think my opinion doesn't really count but if you ask me, I agree with someone above who said that if somethings doesn't work for a country, its government should have the people's intrest at heart and if that's the case with the EU well I'd be all for that

The EU isnt like the United states. But it acts like a federation telling what each state can and cannot do even though each state is a sovereign country.

I enjoy watching the Parliamentary cluster fuck. It's almost as amusing as Trump's tweets. There is something comforting about a sick sad world.
