Hello everyone, Somenormie here.
I'm just bored as hell so I may as well post this question and ask other people what most of you will be doing for Christmas this year?
If you're wondering about me on the 21st of this month I'm going to 🇨🇦 specifically Toronto, Ontario with my dad and older brother to visit my dad's side of the family since some of them are excited to see us.
I’m not going anywhere exciting but will start the day with hot chocolate and American pancakes. As I have Spotify premium again I can go for a run with some Christmas/winter themed songs playing whilst everyone else watches Ben-Hur, then come back for presents, dinner and a cheesy film of some description. Should be a decent day.
Not especially. The "exciting" part of Christmas for me is all the shopping I'm doing beforehand. I hate generic gifts and asking what people want, so I always spend a bunch of time thinking about what to get people based on what I know about them.
I usually guess correctly, but it's pretty tiring. That said, it's an opportunity to loosen my wallet, buy myself whatever I please, and maybe get some cool shit once Christmas Day comes around.
We're not doing anything this year
Not unless she has something secret planned for me anyways.
We had a pretty big trip for Halloween. We visited Salem, Massachusetts and participated in some of the events happening there. It was a fantastic trip and I particularly enjoyed The Festival of the Dead's spiritual gimmick events. Even though it was crowded, it was the firsr trip I had gone on since getting the new leg and learning to walk with it.
We just want to rest this Christmas. Hopefully we manage to do that.
I just say around watching television with my 85 year old, recently widowed father, and then he convinced me to call my sister. I called my sister to say, "I love you, merry Christmas", then she said, "okay, thanks", and hung up on me. Then my father called my sister, because he just had to... meh.

I am going back to the UK to see my folks and family and some of my (remaining) friends over there. Tbf, there are coming to be as many people I love in my present country, as in my country of origin.
I'm looking forwards to the midnight Christmas Eve service at church. I want it to be a good time to reconnect with God.
I will probably realise more dribs and drabs of truth about my past from looking at the life I used to share with these people, which for them will have either changed or not changed at points. I will probably become aware of the passage of time by noticing how the have grown up and the Gen-Xers have grown old. Going back is like watching the clock hands turn.
I'm going to be spending Christmas with my boyfriend's family. After opening our gifts in the morning we're going to go visit his Grandma in the hospital and give her the presents we got her.

Since I'll be going away on Wednesday tomorrow I'll have to get packing and I'm still not packed lol.
I plan to pack my Switch, my phone and my Wii ( well mostly because I use it to record things on it with my capture card )
Thanks Cuntsicklestick, I'm currently having fun in Canada right now as I'm writing this comment it is literally 2 degrees it is sure cold. Also met cousins who I've never ever met in person
Me, my brother my cousins and my uncle we plan to go out and some points to look at the CN Tower.
Since I'm there I may as well buy myself a cup of Tim Hortons lol.
I go do a lot of family stuff over the holidays. We got a big family. Im getting the nephews into boxing they're both already gonna likely get scholarships from sports and in highschool. I sparred my nephew last year and he gave me a bloody nose even tho he just started boxing and I had abunch of amateur matches when I was his age. He has no experience but hes a good athlete. Everytime I see the fucker he's grown like 10lbs of muscle. Dudes 16 right now got a pretty girlfriend and killin it in life. Got him some nice boxing gloves for hitting the bag. Might spar him again during the christmas party then we're gonna all get drunk and play dirty santa. I bought a confederate flag flask for that.
