I'm close to my family and I'm the black sheep. It used to bother me as a kid but it's cool now. My family is very kind and respectful of me because they think I'm unique (I don't think I am but it's nice they do) and it helped prepare me for the real world. I'm sure you guys know how it is; there are so many different kinds of people and so many are trying to keep up with the Jones' or act just like everyone else. When push comes to shove, being the black sheep helped me stay true to myself.
