Well, I googled the definition, and no, I'm definetly not androgynous. I'm a female, and with certain things I guess I'd be considered a tom boy but I'm definetly not androdynous.
I wear dresses, short shorts, I have long hair which gets styled whenever I go out, I wear make up, and nail polish (black only). However, a lot of people see me as tom boyish because I'm very much into the metal scene.
I have several brightly coloured, easily visible tattoos (infact its hard to actually cover them up without long sleeves and a scarf), a few facial piercings and I never wear lipstick, high heels, or have those long, red, hooker nails I see some females enjoy parading around.
I listen to heavy metal music, could probably kick a dude's ass when it comes to gaming, (except my boyfriend, he is still way better than I am at gaming, mostly because he's patient and I am not), and I love sciency stuff on tv or reading about it online.
I don't enjoy most girly things like watching the bachelor, going for cocktails with a bunch of overly huggy overly giggly girls and the like. I find those things incredibly boring.
Are you Androgynous?
