I do seem to get stuck with them. It takes me longer to realise than other people and then I just don't like to be rude. I've been getting much better at getting away, though, by making ridiculous excuses that people don't know whether to believe (inspired by Mira Sorvino: "Would you excuse me? My shoe is filling up with blood").
lol, some part of my mind must have linked vampire with the shoe blood quote but it wasn't intentional. However, if my shoe ever does fill up with blood, I'm officially giving you the first chance to dig in. :D
