I've always been afraid to hold babies. Except for my brother. (Go figure, but maybe I thought that he couldn't get any more messed up if I dropped him) (just kidding, R :)
Anyhow, I'd say it's a common fear. Like BUGABOO said, they're very delicate and I always thought I'd end up breaking them or something.
