Actions are 100% selfish, very true. Still don't get how it is fake though. People have done things for me without expecting anything back and vice versa.
I guess it's mainly because everyone who has EVER done anything nice for me has always had an ulterior motive. So I've never experienced someone not being fake. And I admit, I've done nice things for people, but I feel really horrible about it because in the back of my mind, I want them to appreciate me and think fondly of me. I feel very fake when I do something nice, for that very reason. So I just don't do nice things for people anymore. Guess it's just how my life's been, and that's the reason of how I see it.
I don't really see something 'fake' in expecting something in return. There's part of that longing in people, but most of the time they'd do it regardless. Ex. I make a decision to buy a beggar a meal because I don't want that guy to go hungry...but when I give it I might want him to appreciate it. Even if he just grimaces at me, I wouldn't regret my decision.
Are you a Nice Person?

Well, regardless, I don't want to do anything nice for anybody, and I don't want anybody to do anything nice for me. I just don't like nice people.
