Are turtles are the cutest animals ever?

I saw a youtube video of a turtle humping a shoe once. Very cute.

I would not use the word cute to describe a turtle. Have you ever seen one up close?

I had a mud slider dig a nest in the flower bed by the lanai last year. Next thing I know, I'm in the swimming pool and here comes a tiny, newly hatched turtle paddling across the pool to me (looking for the river). I picked him up, walked out into the yard and to the dock, and lowered him into the river he was trying to find in the first place :)

We have a baby snapping turtle. He's just about 1 year old and he's so cute, especially how he stalks crickets and then grabs em so fast. Its funny, he usually pushes the head off once the body is in his mouth. Love it

Tortoises are even cuter. Their like big old grandpa's of the turtle family. They're so slow its adorable!

i used to think so. one day i was driving along a country road and i saw a tortoise ambling across.
I stopped the car to help it , it was so cute and slow and stripey. it poked its head out, its neck and head reminded me of a snake, ew i thought they aint all that. so i placed it in the grass on the side of the road and got back in my car.
happy with my good deed for the day i set off again, but the smell! the smell filled my car and made me gag. it was on my hands! thick and hot and indescribable. never again they stink and look cute only from afar

^^ Exactly. My husband and I were at Petsmart today talking about this. Fish, birds, reptiles, arachnids, and amphibians don't make cuddly pets and so I have no interest in them.
