    If I we're testing your aversion to suggestions posed by mental health professionals I'd say you failed with flying colors. That's is the motive I saw. Simple test.

      i would say he passed with flying colors not submitting to brainwashing techniques and the power of suggestion.

          "Subject refuses simple suggestive test, perhaps sign of paranoia. Subject seems to have trust issues with medical personnel. I am not paid enough for this. Subject makes me want to be that murderer doctor like in the movies this triggers me so much. I must take it slow, subjects paranoia seems to be rubbing off on me."

              This could have been some kind of test to gauge your level of trust and cooperation. Had you smelled the lavender oil, there might have been follow up questions to develop an impression of your susceptibility for hypnosis, etc.
