My sister-in-law feels that it is. Her reasoning is that people who don't have kids just don't want tp do the work or make the sacrifices that come with being a parent. They want to live for their own pleasures rather than giving up their desires.
I disagree. I feel that one should only have kids if they have the intrinsic desire to be a parent, in some way or another. Children often suffer when they are born to parents who don't really want them, I see it every day. There are plenty of avenues which involve hard work and sacrifice that don't require having kids that you don't really want. Selfish is having kids that you don't want. Now your desires are hurting innocent human beings who did not ask to be here. Being a parent is challenging enough without having your heart in it.
