      FUCK I hate when people start sentences with "You do realize..." Man, people, don't be passive aggressive. Just be aggressive. B. E. Aggressive.

      Anyway, they're contradictory. "- I do not have an opinion as to what other persons besides myself should and should not do." v. "If I had a pregnant spouse, I would not allow her to have an abortion."

        It is not contradictory. The action of not allowing is my own action. It is not an opinion as to the the rightful action of another person.

          That's ridiculous. That's like taking time out of your life to paint the interior of every single house you live in bright pink, even though you say you don't have an opinion on the interior colour of your house. Obviously, you have an opinion that bright pink is a better colour for you to have on the interior of your house, in the same way that obviously you have an opinion that your wife should never have abortions.

          After all, if you didn't have an opinion on her having abortions, what would cause you to take action preventing her from doing so?

              Right, but I believe you said you don't have any rights of any kind ("I do not believe in rights, therefore I do not have rights."), much as a facet of nature - a simple boulder - doesn't have any rights. How can a boulder have a child? How can it have anything?

              If your wife wants the fetus to be aborted, what right do you have to stop her?

              Even passing these questions - let's say she wants to have the fetus aborted and you don't. You disallow her from having an abortion on the grounds that SHE SHOULDN'T have the abortion because it will infringe on your "right" to the baby. Therefore, you are having an opinion on what she should or should not do based on your own interests, which is directly contradictory to the statement "- I do not have an opinion as to what other persons besides myself should and should not do."

                Further, and in a separate thread, you have stated "- I do not believe in human authority."

                If you disallow your wife from having an abortion... aren't you exercising authority over her and aren't you a human?
