I agree , i had a stepson but only struck his ass a few times like i did to my actual son. I think striking a face is cruel no matter what. In fact the only face i ever hit was some crazy lady taking my little brother off a school bus. i was 10 making my brother about 7. i surprised she was able to retreat. Never saw her again.

I’ve told my school counselor about it and she acted like that was normal? She said parents have the right to discipline their children
